Every kid wants a super-duper, over-the-top, way-cool, detailed-to-the-max "themed" birthday with every single kid they have met in the last 3 years there, including the ones they just met at the park last weekend. And it has to be all about the latest Disney characters, cartoon super heros or whoever is currently being marketed on the cereal boxes that are perfectly placed at a kids eye-level in the grocery stores. Who is in charge here, anyway?
Sweet Pea had his birthday party this weekend.
He wanted a pond party. He is five now.... yah!.... FIVE years old! Can you believe that shit? When the hell did this happen... anyway, after looking online, making trips to various stores, long discussions and countless brainstorming sessions with him, (and realizing that there really isn't such a thing as a pond-themed party), Sweet Pea confidently decided on a Froggy Party.
It was TOADily fun as everyone LEAPed on over to our PAD for hot frogs, green ice cream with flies and RIBBITING fun with lots of froggy games and yes, a burping contest. You will have to view that one on the video below (once I can figure out how to post it - so check back)... the winner will amaze you.
